About Kassie Kenney
Following her love for athletics, Kassie has dedicated her career to helping people get fit, be healthy, and stay active. Her passion led her to The University of Texas at Austin where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. During her first year at UT, she walked onto the Texas Women’s Rowing team and was a four-year letterwinner helping her team win 3 Big 12 Championships and 1 Conference USA Championship.
Kassie was invited to intern and learn at Train 4 The Game in spring of 2013. During her time as an intern, she was introduced to Applied Functional Science, the foundation around which T4TG was built, and began to understand and realize the intricacies of functional human movement. She appreciated and embraced the core idea that not only is movement important, but movement in multiple directions enables the body to move efficiently and powerfully, and works to enhance and restore vitality.
In January 2014, Kassie was brought on as a full-time coach and took the opportunity to continue learning and helping clients get a great workout that not only pushed them to reach their goals, but also energized them so they finished feeling better than when they started. She is dedicated to helping clients realize they have more potential within themselves and are capable of more than they believe.
