About Kevin Benford
Kevin began his education as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist in 2008 when he received his
certificate in personal training from the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
In 2015, he earned his certification with USA Track & Field as a Level 2 Sprints and Jumps coach. He has been able to help elevate multiple athletes to the title of AAU All-American (national finalists) in both sprinting and jumping events while also helping numerous others to medal at the UIL Track & Field State Championship.
Following his passion for human performance and athletic development, Kevin attended Texas State
University from 2016-2020 where he worked closely with the university’s strength & conditioning staff assisting baseball, softball, basketball, and track & field teams. During this time he earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Sports Science. Along the way, Kevin sought out additional specializations in corrective exercise, speed & agility, and athletic performance enhancement.
Following his graduation from Texas State University he joined the T4TG team in the Spring 2019 as in intern and accepted an invitation to join the team full time thereafter. He is driven to continue his education in the Applied Functional Sciences to help others improve their quality of movement and lives.
